WEST WING
The West Wing was created for guests who are looking for a non-traditional hotel room experience. Each recently renovated room is a showcase in contemporary design with KING BED ONLY, flat screen TV, DVD Player, Bose wave radio and bathroom TV. plush towels, extra pillows and upgraded amenities in bathroom. The West Wing offers a quiet unique experience guests who prefer style to more typical Vegas accommodations. All rooms feature high-speed Internet access. Each occupied guest room may have a maximum of two (2) guests. Rollaway beds are not permitted in the West Wing Rooms. West Wing rooms provide shower stall only.
GRAND TOWER:
Live large. At 446 square feet, these deluxe rooms at MGM Grand are more spacious than the average room in Las Vegas. The amenities also speak to a grander lifestyle, offering our discerning guests the ultimate in elegance and comfort. - Grand Garden Arena - The MGM Grand Garden Arena is home to concerts, championship boxing and premier sporting and special events. The Arena offers comfortable seating for as many as 16,800 people with excellent sightlines and state-of-the-art acoustics, lighting and sound. Prominent events to date have included world championship fights between Evander Holyfield and Mike Tyson as well as Oscar De La Hoya vs. Bernard Hopkins; and concerts by The Rolling Stones, U2, Madonna, Elton John, Bruce Springsteen, Paul McCartney, Jimmy Buffett and the Barbra Streisand Millennium Concert. The MGM Grand Garden Arena is also home to the annual FOX Billboard Music Award and the annual Andre Agassi Grand Slam for Children Benefit.
- Hollywood Theatre - The intimate 740-seat Hollywood Theatre is home to world class entertainment and internationally acclaimed shows nightly. - Ka by Cirque du Soleil - Ka the unprecedented new theatrical show from Cirque du Soleil at MGM Grand combines acrobatic performances, martial arts, puppetry, multimedia and pyrotechnics to illustrate the nature of duality. It’s the epic saga of twins who embark on a perilous journey through good and evil and along the way are rewarded with a magical talisman for protection, along thrir way to fulfill their destinies. As the plot unravels, the twins are bombarded by danger around every corner of their mystical journey. K? applies the visual vocabulary of cinema to a dazzling live event that is more about storytelling than any previous Cirque du Soleil production.
- Crazy Horse Paris - “Crazy Horse Paris ” is a first for America and Las Vegas, a show direct from one of the hottest nightspots in the world, the original Crazy Horse in Paris, famous for its productions celebrating beautiful woman and the art of the nude since 1951. “Crazy Horse Paris” uses a combination of light effects, film, and projections to create dramatic effects: some subtle, some humorous and all sensual. All 12 of the international collection of dancers are members of the original Crazy Horse dance troupe. Crazy Horse Paris dancers are trained in ballet and perfectly integrate into sensuous choreography as their bodies are bathed in colored and textured lighting designs. In French the phrase L’ART DU NU - the art of the nude - is synonymous with an elegant Arrondissement of Paris. It is the world famous Crazy Horse, which has been unsurpassed for nearly half a century as a radical innovation that exalts the female form as both artistic expression and entertainment. More than five million people have watched the Crazy Horse show in its beautifully appointed theater on the Avenue George V, right next door to the House of Balenciaga and across the street from Yves St. Laurnet. Since its founding by Alain Bernardin, it has evolved through three distinct phases.
- The Lion Habitat at MGM Grand - Open daily from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Admission is complimentary. To honor the lion and help safeguard its preservation for future generations, MGM Grand Hotel and Casino has created a one-of-a-kind Lion Habitat as a showcase for public education and appreciation for this majestic creature of nature. The lion has been a part of the MGM heritage for many years, beginning with the legendary Leo, whose roars have welcomed generations of moviegoers to epics of the silver screen. The lions live in custom accommodations on an 8.5-acre ranch 12 miles from the MGM Grand. They are owned and cared for by noted feline expert Keith Evans, who has been training exotic animals for more than 30 years.
MGM Bars and Nightclubs
- Studio 54 - MGM Grand is home to Las Vegas’ hottest nightclub, Studio 54, featuring state-of-the-art sound, video and lighting, live dancers, wall walkers and chart-topping dance music. Voted “Best Dance Club” for 2000 and 2001 by the Las Vegas Review Journal, the 22,000-square-foot nightclub offers four dance floors and bars, an exclusive area on the second floor for invited guests, and several semi-private lounges capable of accommodating up to 400 people. In celebration of the original Studio 54, the nightclub features a gallery of black and white celebrity photographs taken by paparazzo Felice Quinto at New York City’s original Studio 54, which defined ’70s pop culture with its eclectic artwork, dramatic fashion and stylish attitude. Tuesdays are EDEN nights at Studio 54. Erotically Delicious Entertainers Night includes complimentary admissions for those in the Las Vegas entertainment industry as well as live radio remotes with the hottest Disc Jockeys from KLUC FM. Dance to the progressive electronic music spun by Studio 54’s own DJ Frankie of NYC and DJ Jose2Hype or tune in to KLUC 98.5 FM.
